MYCOBACTERIOLOGY
last modified November 14, 2015
High performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) can be used to investigate the lipids of mycobacterial cell wall. Due to the variability of lipidic composition of cell wall in different species the HPLC pattern can be used for the identification at species level. The largest library of mycobacterial HPLC patterns is available here.
